Teekvision is now accepting applications for our upcoming Choreographers Showcase title Sexography.

 

Teekvision Presents: Sexography Showcase January 20th, 2017 located The Bronx Academy of Arts & Dance

 

Martha said, “dance is the hidden language of the soul” and Salt N Peppa said, “Let’s talk about Sexy Baby”. What happens when you mix the two by brining the art of sex to the language of dance?  Sex is a necessity to our species existent yet is so frowned upon. Hide no more and share your conceptions of sex in a piece.

 

Accepted applicants will able to

-  Present up to 15 minutes of choreography, in a live dance performance (if there are any set up/break down of props it must be included)

- 30 min tech on January 19th between 5pm-10pm

- Marketing support, promoting on Teekvision’s website, social media pages, and email blast, BAAD Program brochure, website, etc.

- An option to receive reviews from audience, and professionals in the dance field of your work

- Free video of the performance to use as you may. 

- 25% of tickets sales

 

Submit the following materials to teekvision@gmail.com

• Name of Contact Person, Number

• Press Kit- Company Name, Artistic Director statement, Choreographer(s) Bio, Mission Statement, Reviews, Credits, etc.

• 3 video samples

• Title and Description of proposed work, length, and number of dancers

 

DEADLINE to APPLY is November 18th, 2016 at 11:59pm

Acceptance Notification by November 27th. 2016
